     Be sure when you get your new baby or babies that you follow a few simple steps to help ease your piggy into their new environment:


    1) Always have a new cavy into its own space do not try to introduce a new nervous baby right into your existing herd they are not only stressed from all the new smells sounds and people, new cage mates are sure to cause stress related problems asap.

    2) Be sure to clean your piggy once settled in for a few hours wash with cavy bath or baby wipes to help clean any stress related debris and helps them to lose the previous tank mates smells to ready them to be introduced to their new family.

    3) Be sure to offer a few fresh oranges or bell peppers for vitamin c , as stress will cause them to drop in vitamin C and cavys get many symptoms from Scurvy and they can get it within hours.

    4) Don't ignore your new pet just because Google says so. A new Cavy is scared and deserves to know you care talk to them softly offer treats keep an eye on how they eat and drink. Don't just ignore them and leave them be for days


    Here are the Most common aliments of Cavys -No they are not caused by breeders or anyone else they ARE common and its why it says Common because even the slightest stress a cavy can have these issues to something we may not even perceive as Stress.


     Ringworm is fairly common in guinea pigs so don't freak out! It is a fungus that often presents on the outside and inside of the ears, around the eyes and on the nose.

    Approximately 40 different species of fungi can cause ringworm; the scientific names for the types of fungi that cause ringworm are Trichophyton, Microsporum, and Epidermophyton.

    What causes fungus in guinea pigs?  Fungal Infections & Treatment, Stress, diet, environment, heat and humidity, infection by external parasites

    Bumblefoot - keep moisturized with Coconut Oil. It cannot hurt, can only help and there are reports of bumblefoot being cured. 

    Fungal infections - Coconut Oil has anti-fungal properties AND it is very soothing when applied AND it is not toxic to your guinea pig.     How do I know if my guinea pig has an eye infection?

    Your guinea pig's eyes can tell you a lot about its overall health. It's normal for guinea pigs to have a milky discharge from the eyes, but red, runny or sore eyes could be a sign of guinea pig eye infection or more serious health issues.

    Conjunctivitis is very common in pet guinea pigs and is generally caused by infection or hypovitaminosis C (scurvy). Chlamydophila caviae causes guinea pig inclusion conjunctivitis (GPIC) in laboratory and pet guinea pigs. Juvenile animals are most commonly affected.Cytologic examination of a specimen from a conjunctival scraping may reveal intracytoplasmic inclusion bodies in epithelial cells. Treatment is generally considered unnecessary. Vitamin C deficiency in guinea pigs causes conjunctivitis with a FLAKY discharge. Hay Poke also affect the eye and will require you to visit a vet for eye meds.


      Guinea pigs expel excess calcium in their urine. These milky white calcium secretions are what you may see on your guinea pig's fleece liner or pee pad. “White powdery spots on your piggy's fleece are nothing to be concerned about.

    Pneumonia is one of the most significant diseases of pet guinea pigs and can be caused by several bacteria, including Bordetella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus. Guinea pigs can naturally harbor these bacteria and may be asymptomatic (apparently healthy) carriers.

    You normally will need to  drive to meet the transport driver they try to get close to you and stay on their route close to highways, and they will come with a carrier . Guinea Pigs & Hedgehogs Will be fully health checked  for travel.. You just show up and bring your photo ID. The delivery fee of $175.00( for Cavys/Guinea Pigs) covers all delivery costs including carrier with water bottle, driver, vet check, and Interstate Health Certificate if needed. Fee of $175.00 is for one carrier hold up to 3 baby cavys of the same sex (We do Not intermix sexes) that would need to be a second carrier charge. If needing door to door delivery please ask so we can get a quote and possiblity from the driver. Thanks

    Animals are for life and not an impulse buy. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS BECAUSE YOU CHANGED YOUR MIND or you think we should deliver for FREE or you are not willing to meet the drivers for pick up they will be within 1 hour drive time from you at most, unless discussed before purchase. We remove them from the site, then hold them for you and tell others they are sold. No Exceptions unless pet is found unsound before going home.     The pictures are close up so you can see well, but please look at the birthdate and keep in mind some of these babies in person are just ounces and very small. Look at he birthdate cavys can not go home before 4 weeks old.


    Males make wonderful pets. We keep baby males together so they are well-bonded and if you have no females, many males get along with the proper space just fine. There is NO extra care needed for males than females. Even females can be territorial if cage space is too small. Breeders be sure to use the drop down menu for pigs with pedigree if wanting a pedigreed cavy thanks.


    Colors & Descriptions of cavies are listed closest to standards and yet so the Average Pet Lover will understand what they will look like as adults, so the non-showing person can understand. Also, each color is called by a slightly different name depending on whom and where you look it up. We try to put what color they will be as close as possible.

    Posts Such as REW means Red Eyed White and PEW means Pink Eyed White, Silver solid will NOT grow up to be a solid silver color like it sounds So many will be marked Black with SIlver tips etc. Broken colors does NOT Mean anything is Broekn or hurt It simply means the colors are broken up Roan may not show in the coat but will be added so that if being bred you are aware roan is in the line and do not breed roan to roan .
